What is Fantasy Springs?

Fantasy Springs is the latest addition to Tokyo DisneySea, officially opened in June 2024. This new area features beloved Disney characters from classics such as Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. With immersive attractions, enchanting scenery, and beautifully themed dining options, Fantasy Springs has quickly become a must-visit destination within the park.

Tips for Enjoying Your Day at DisneySea

To make the most of your visit to Tokyo DisneySea, consider the following tips:

• Arrive Early: The park is known to get crowded quickly, so arriving before opening time gives you a head start on popular rides.
• The Disney App is a Must: The official Tokyo Disney Resort app helps you check wait times, reserve dining, and navigate the park efficiently. If you want to enter Fantasy Springs, you need to secure a separate entry ticket after entering the park. You can’t do this from outside, so get on it as soon as you arrive!
• Prioritize Popular Attractions: Rides like Journey to the Center of the Earth and Soaring: Fantastic Flight tend to have long wait times, so head there early.
• Check for Cancellations: If character dining or restaurant reservations show “Full,” don’t give up! Keep checking throughout the day — cancellations pop up more often than you’d think. I managed to get into Chef Mickey this way :), and it was totally worth it!
• Try Unique Food Items: DisneySea is famous for its exclusive snacks, such as the Ukiwah shrimp bun and flavored popcorn.

• Visit on a Weekday: Hands down, weekdays are the best! Weekends get crazy crowded, so if you can, avoid them for a much more relaxed experience.

How to Get Into Fantasy Springs (Avoid My Mistake!)

Fantasy Springs has a limited capacity, and unfortunately, I learned this the hard way 🙁

I arrived at 10:30 AM, thinking it was early enough, but it was already full for the day. To avoid this, I recommend:

• Arriving at Park Opening: Be among the first visitors to secure your spot.
• Check for Entry Passes: You need to secure your Fantasy Springs entry pass through the Disney app after entering the park. Remember, you can’t do this from outside the park, so act fast!
• Stay at a Disney Hotel: Guests at Disney-affiliated hotels may receive early entry benefits.

Staying at a Disney-affiliated or nearby hotel enhances your overall experience with perks like early entry, shuttle services, and proximity to the park. Some popular options include:
